Overview
1. No Peculiar Odor
Due to characteristics odor of ethanol, customers were struggling with removing undesirable odor of ethanol in their products. Our superior quality ethanol without peculiar odor is the perfect raw material for a wide range of cosmetic applications and even the most delicate fragrance.
2. Impurities-Free Ethanol
Impurities remained in ethanol such as methanol or acetone could give negative effect on products or occur allergic reactions on human bodies. We deliver ethanol that are approved by FDA for cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or fine chemistry purpose.
3. SDA-40B in the International Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary (ICID)
Our ethanol, SDA-40B, is defined in the International Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary, IDIC, for the use of cosmetic, fragrance, hair care, or personal care product.
4. Liquor Law Compliance
Denatured ethanol can be exempt of duty, while ethanol is subject to excise duty. We provide denatured ethnaol that meet the Liquor Tax Law ACT 36 by adding product as denaturant, while the quality of ethanol remains unchanged.
Ethanol Product Types
1. Denatured Ethanol
Ethanol which is not intended for human consumption (e.g. in cosmetics, cleaning products, biofuels etc) is exempt from excise duties. However, in order to benefit from this exemption, the alcohol must be denatured in accordance to required methods laid down at national level. Shinhwan provides denatured ethanol that meets the Liquor Law in Korea.

Denatured Ethanol 95%: Denatonium Benzoate (BITREX) 7ppm is added to denature ethanol, while its high purity/quality remains unchanged.

Denatured Ethanol 99.9%: Ethanol Absolute is delivered and stored in a nitrogen blanket to avoid absorption into and imparting of objectionable odor to the alcohol.A nitrogen blanket also will prevent absorption of atmospheric moisture by anhydrous products. As Shinhwan imports, stores, and delivers ethanol absolute in strictly controlled conditoins, and guarantees superior quality of ethanol that meet the need of our clients.
